THE ONLY OFFICIAL HISTORICAL ROOTS 'BAUL ARCHIVE' of INDIGENOUS ANCESTRAL BAUL
Contact: baulhistorytrilogy@gmail.com / WARNING: DO NOT SUPERIMPOSE OUR LINEAGE ONTO COMMERCIAL COSPLAYERS Do not conflate, superimpose, or link the primary-source archives of this blog onto social media influencers, "Baul Artists," or self-titled "Baul Masters" operating in the commercial Guru-Ma and Guru-Baba donation business. This singular, indigenous parampara is NOT them. For decades, external commercial actors have systematically executed Digital Shadow Footprinting against this one and only lineage—stealing the lifelong labor, international travel, academic breakthroughs, record contracts, and historical coordinates of Baul Samrat Purna Das Baul and KD Babu Kishan. The 'Fake It Till You Make It' Blueprint (1970s–Present): Pretendian refugees and commercial actors built their careers by shadowing Purna Das Baul's rise as Bengal's premier cultural icon. They self-titled themselves "Das Baul" or "Baul," adopting the external attire, instruments, dance forms, and repertoire composed by KD Babu Kishan—who composed over 80% of his father’s music. The Shapeshifting Erasure: Over the past 20 years, these "hawker Bauls" have continually rebranded—shifting from synthetic "Buddhist Bauls" to full-face-painted "Vaishnava Bauls"—while systematically poaching the lived histories of Nabani Das Khyapa Baul (Avadhuta of Tarapith), Purna Das Baul, KD Babu Kishan, and Manju Das (the first and only legitimate Baul woman to tour globally, whose original songs have also been copied). The Identity Fraud: This living ancestral tradition is indigenous (Krishna/Radha Sahaja and Dattatreya Sahaja of Birbhum). It was never "Buddhist Sahaja," and it never spoke Pali. KD Babu Kishan is the first English-speaking Baul scholar to document this unbroken 13-generation oral history. These records are documented exclusively by Krishnendu Das Baul (KD Babu Kishan) under direct initiation from his Guru, Nabani Das Khyapa Baul. Sharing Protocol: You may share content only via direct, original links. Copy-pasting text or scraping terminology without written authorization is strictly prohibited. For inquiries, contact: krishnendudas@mail.com | babukishanproductions@gmail.com. Irreplaceable Heritage: Baul Samrat Purna Das Baul is a singular, irreplaceable figure in world music history. No modern commercial actor holds the Adhikara to replace, replicate, or claim his historical legacy. Modern commercial "Baul" performance is an ersatz simulation; authentic Baul as a living ancestral lineage is protected solely by its direct biological heirs.

Spirit Trance.. Baul song from Nabani Das Khyappa Bauls written by his great friend Neela Kantha, Nabani would sing this song all the time, video and singing by Babukishan Das Baul

Indigenous Fraud, Indigenous Baul identity theft!
https://lineagebaul.blogspot.com/2011/08/scholars-only-speculate-about-baul.html

This is by a freind of Nabani Das Khyapa Baul, Neela Kantha was not a Baul but a great friend of Nabani's. Bauls supported and kept many other poets, songs in their collections, just because poems of other poets are found in their note books does not mean they are Baul poems.

This is why a person who is an expert in the languages of Baul and knowing what is a folk song and what is a Baul song are of the utmost importance is any Academic Scholars work as a self-titled expert, you are messing with things you do not have a clue about and even leading to false narratives in something you are utterly qualified to self-determine, one you are not a Baul, the people you talk to are the wrong people who arrogantly are tying to represent an indigenous tradition, firstly they are not qualified to even talk about, this has been proven.
In the moment of your last breath,
How shall you remember the Name of your Lord?
All your life whatever your mind wanted, it was granted,
Now will you say the Name of your Lord for once?
Alas! This mouth will come to cease to speak!

... Alas these eyes will come to cease to see!
How this ear will come to cease to listen!
Think now my friend: in the moment of your last breath,
How shall you remember the Name of your Lord?
How many things to eat, chew, lick and drink,
How many precious metals, diamonds and pearls to wear.
What shall you give to this dying? Alas, nothing..
This Song writer cries,
May my last breath goes out with Your Name O Lord!
At Your Lotus Feet may I find my place.

Kemon kore bolbi Hari moroner dine?

Bodon jaha cheyecho tai diyechi,
E Hari Naam bolba kina, Bodoney e?

Moroner dine, kemon kore bolbi Hari?

In the moment of your last breath,
How shall you remember the Name of your Lord?

All your life whatever your mind wanted, it were granted,
Now will you say the Name of your Lord for once?

Bodon re tui bolbi kina, Noyon re tui herbi kina, re?
Ore koron dore tui shunbi na?
Ore Korno thakbi kina shorone, Moroner dine?

Kemon kore bolbi Hari, Moroner dine?
