"Kichchu Din Mone Mone" was officially recorded by my father Purna Das Baul in the 1960's at India's First Record company, Hindustan Records.

Kicchu Din Mone Mone was written by Nabani Das Khyapa Baul and it is part of this Lineage Baul. It is sad that others feel the need to cheat taking this song without respect.

If you do not know who the author of this song it, you are absolutely a Nakal Fake Baul and have culturally Appropriated this song from this lineage. Putting a fake name on it is inexcusable. This will be addressed in a big way in the media, enough is enough, this has gone on far too long.

5. Jemon Beni, written by Rasaraj Gosai - Jemon Beni, written by Rasaraj Gosai - (Nabani Das Baul's uncle) Rasaraj Gosai was a prominent Sanskrit ORAL Scholar and Baul poet in Bengali history. Never married and the greatest tantric and tantric poet. Music composed by Nabani Das Baul and singing by Purna Das Baul who is the first to record this Baul poetry. I just want to let you know this is not a Bengali folk song, none of these songs are folk songs they are Baul songs Spiritual songs. These songs are a deep meditation and Sadhana and are a discourse with a deep philosophical meaning.

These songs have all been recorded many years back at Hindustan Records which was the first official Music Company in India. Purna Das Baul has recorded all and many others. This is how Baul became famous, through first Nabani Das Khyapa Baul, Purna Das Baul and Babu Kishan aka Krishnendu Das Baul. There are many more songs, however, a separate book will have to include all the music of this lineage. There are thousands of songs.

Three Indian Bengali Cinema Music Directors, Pankaj Mallick, Timir Baran, Raichand Boral, recorded Purna Das Baul an award winning India Vocalist and the Greatest Baul singer. These music directors respected ‘Nabani Das Khyapa Baul’, they were his friends and well wishers.

Approximately twenty times Ghole Malee Ghole Malee was recorded worldwide and eighteen times it was recorded by Babukishan and everytime it was recorded it was a super duper hit.

Today these songs are sung by all Bauls without any of them giving credit to the Baul who wrote it ‘Nabani Das Khyapa Baul’ it is interesting because it was ‘Purna Das Baul ‘and this lineage that own these famous songs but yet they sing them and say they are from a different lineage?

This was never a problem previously but I think now that so many ‘fake Bauls’ and stories are being made up, the hijacking and actor Bauls who claim and follow this lineage but never say the truth. It is time for the truth of Baul to come forward to preserve this tradition before it is lost forever.

These are not Bengali Folk Songs they are spiritual songs from this family, this lineage. They should be protected in proper context as respect to this lineage.

Gaudiya Math and Iskcon hijacked ‘Vaishnava Baul Kirtan’ and song and dance distorting this tradition. There is something that people need to understand Chaitanya was a scholar, he was not a poet or Baul, it was Nityananda and his lineage going back thousands of years that were the poets, philosophers and musical, the original Hare Krishna singers and dancers.

This lineage is the first and only Pioneering Lineage to bring Baul out of the village in Birbhum to the World.

Some others were invited to travel with them or followed them, trying to do what they have already done, then Riding on the Coat Tails of this lineage saying they are they are first, they are not, the first Women Baul to travel around the world starting in 1969 was Manju Das before internet.

Copying what Babu Kishan and his family have already done is miseducating the public because many are making astronomical claims that are not true. Yet they are singing the songs of this lineage but adding other peoples names, this is a cultural appropriation. There is a Baul History and Her-story and this story was complete decades ago.

The real Baul is extinct! Babu Kishan has ARCHIVED BAUL decades ago, it has been done, it is complete. This will be presented one by one. This is important because 'Newcomers to BAUL', are watering down, reducing and dumbing down Baul. The speculation on who the Bauls are is mind boggling. Scholars have never got it right, they only speculate or talk to the wrong people. These statements will be qualified one by one.

Babu Kishan has preserved his one and only'Lineage Baul' because he could fore tell the change Baul was even going through back in the 1970's.

No one in this world would know who the Bauls of Bengal are without all the work of this family, this lineage and Babu Kishan. All Bauls follow this lineage, this lineage is ancient and they do not follow anybody.

The new Baul singers, follow this lineage by singing their songs, by dressing as they dress, by following them around the world and by meeting their friends.

Bob Dylan, Allen Ginsberg, Rabindranath Tagore, Osho and many others were only associated with this family and this lineage.

Babu Kishan is the eldest in his generation of Vaishnava Tantric Bauls, he is Nabani Das Khyapa Bauls eldest Grandson and raised by Nabani and Brajabala from Birth til he was 8 years of age, they instilled in him that he preserve his Lineage Baul and this he completed decades ago.
