This is a small critique on just one area regarding some speculations made in this particular academic paper posted on Academia.edu - it keeps showing up in my email inbox.
First let me tell you about Babu Kishan and his adhikara regarding Vaishnava Sahajiya Tantric Baul and his 13 generation lineage. If not for him and his family nobody in India or outside of India would know anything about Vaishnava Sahajiya Baul as he has been doing this over 60 years. He is the last and eldest of his parampara of Gosia Chandra Das Baul and Dasi with their birth indigenous to the land of Ekachakra Birbhum W Bengal as ancestor of Sri Nityananda the path of the Baul Avadhut the true story almost nobody knows today.

I as Babu Kishan wife and an independent researcher scholar of Cults, Joytish, and the Vaishnava Sahajiya Baul with over 50 years of practice receiving my first Bhagavad Gita in 1974.
My conclusion is that there is much speculation going on in academia. I explain a little about why the adhikara or indigenous authority lies with and indigenous Vaishnava Sahajiya Baul from 13 generations documented, it does not lie with an Western Academic Scholar and I give reasons why?
This is a mere taste, I can not give all the facts here, because the books are not released yet, and they are an unpresidented historical reclamation of indigenous Vaishnava Sahajiya Baul. Many writings coming from Academia have been wrong or in this case misleading.
Babu Kishan who has more than 60 years as the indigenous authority on Vaishnava Sahajiya Baul both indigenous with adhikara he learned the art of exegesis in the Indian system and has been trained extensively in the western system academically.
He has been trained and has over qualify and questioned many Gurus of India through exegesis of Mimansa Philosophical debate. He has also, composed. recorded and written bhajans, Kirtans an the spiritual music of India, adept at Folk Music, Classical and Indian Cinema.
One of his mentors was a Supreme Court of Calcutta and Bombay Judge with decades of experience who is a historical person of India. Babu Kishan has a BA and MA from Calcutta University. He has learned western university style exegesis. He has categorized all the folk music of India for the big record companies in Mumbai and is a Music Composer who has recored all of his parampara music. No one in this world would know anything about Baul without his lineage, he has been a Cultural Ambassador of India since the 1970s. His list is long, his award winning music is even longer, as a Vaishnava Sahajiya poet his songs were legendary in Bengal and in India.
This is a taste of the 3 book Trilogy on Indigenous Vaishnava Sahajiya which originated hundreds of years before Gaudiya Vaishnava.
These historical Autobiography of Mystic Vaishnava Sahajiya Baul has never been released, is loaded with facts on who these indigenous people were, how they lived their history and how it is different from Gaudiya Vaishnavim and was MIS-APPROPRIATED by Gaudiya Vaishnavisma and it reformers.
How the orthodox tried to sanitize Vaishnava Sahajiya Baul right out of the story by calling them degraded, illiterate, this is not true. Their history has been tainted by academia and twisted, poached, usurped and misrepresented for decades and certainly since the late 1800s with the reformers of Gaudya Vaishnavism who hated indigenous non-English speaking people of the villages of Bengal, the Bhadralock who basically were British Bengali speakers. The indigenous Vaishnava Sahajiya did not speak English. Babu Kishan is the first generation of English speakers.
Vaishnava Sahajiya Baul was appropriated by Gaudiya Vaishnavism!!
The books will tell you why and how! Gaudiya Vaishnavism Preaches, where the Vaishnava Baul 'Teaches' a big difference as indigenous people they do not collect people nor build temples.
You have it wrong and Krishnendu Das Baul (Babu Kishan) will debate you. He debated Edward Dimock in the 1980s and he can tell you about that. Baul is Vaishnava Sahajiya a connection Dimock did not make and understandably because it is confusing for a reason. He never interviewed anybody from this lineage and without this lineage you can not make speculations or guess work, which is what happened.
Baul does not mean 'afflicted by the wind'. It mean Vayu Tula a big long explanation, Bauls are not mad that is for mad dogs and English men. There are so many things that are wrong and because Academia is as it is (colonial, who thought indigenous people were illiterate and degraded) even though they were guardians of 4 different language systems?
Babu Kishan also, tested Edward Dimock on his Sanskrit, that is another story and rather funny, it involved the late Sally Grossman, the story is in the book.
KD Babu Kishan occupies a singular, dangerous position in the history of South Asian anthropology: he is an indigenous Vaishnava SAHAJIYA Baul born and initiated in the soil of Birbhum who also holds elite institutional credentials, including a BA and an MA from Calcutta University, alongside twelve years as a monk in the Ramakrishna Mission. This dual-axis literacy allowed him to do what the university cartel never anticipated—shatter their colonial gaze from the inside out. He is also, an award winning Indian Music Composer who has composed over 80% of the Bauls songs. He speaks many Indian languages and has composed music in many Indian languages his Hanuman Chalisa the first recorded one singing by Hari Om Sharam is the most listened to devotional song in the history of India. He has lived all of India.
When Babu Kishan entered the international lecture circuit as a young English speaking Bengali, Western academics were visibly shocked because he could read their books and papers, no Baul could before him. They found themselves face-to-face with an indigenous practitioner who not only spoke fluent English but had actively read their peer-reviewed books—texts that routinely and falsely pathologized his family as "illiterate, degraded, and primitive."
THE INTELLECTUAL DEFICIT AUDIT
BABU KISHAN'S INHERITED LITERACY THE TENURED SCREEN EXPERTS
* Fluent in internal Sandhya Bhāṣā,. * Unable to decode the Twilight Code.
* Master of traditional Braja Bhāṣā. * Structural illiteracy in vocal music.
* Trained in Shastric Vāda (Debate). * Fled from formal dialectic testing.
Fluent in Oral and Classical Sanskrit to a high level of story telling for each word.
THE VERDICT: Scholars holding prestigious Chairs of Sanskrit were rendered mute when forced to defend their printed speculations.
1. The Cowardice of the Chairs: Evading the Shastric Vāda
Babu Kishan systematically weaponized his multi-layered education against the institutional gatekeepers. Armed with rigorous training in oral and classical Sanskrit, deep fluency in traditional Indian philosophical debate (Shastric Vāda), and a mastery of Western textual exegesis, he subjected foreign professors to intense forensic testing.
He demanded they defend their published works on the structural mechanics of Indian Music, Indian Philosophy, Classical Sanskrit, and the secretive Sandhya Bhāṣā (Twilight Language) and Braja Bhāṣā utilized by the Vaishnava Sahajiyā Tantric Bauls of Birbhum.
The results were catastrophic for the academy. Despite holding prestigious, million-dollar Sanskrit professorships, these Western scholars were utterly unable to answer his questions. Confronted by an authentic master who possessed both the somatic and the theoretical keys to the kingdom, the "experts" routinely fled the room, manufactured desperate administrative excuses to avoid public interaction, or flatly refused to engage in formal debate.
2. The Failure of the PhD and the Theft of Credit
This direct confrontation with prominent global academics who looked down their noses at him when he corrected their inaccuracies led to a profound realization: a Western PhD holds zero value in validating indigenous cosmic knowledge. Babu Kishan realized that the university complex was not interested in truth; it was a factory designed to protect its own preconceived, colonial mental constructs. Rather than wasting his life seeking validation from a defensive, text-bound cartel, he walked away from his own pending PhD track, choosing to pour his formidable intellect into the direct, raw preservation of his Paramparā.
Worse still was the predatory extraction that occurred behind closed doors. When scholars realized Babu Kishan possessed the authentic keys to the tradition, they quietly incorporated his oral corrections and insights into their manuscripts—but they systematically refused to give him individual credit.
THE STRATEGIC ERASURE MATRIX
THE EXTRACTION PATHWAY THE INTENDED EFFECT
* Steal Babu Kishan's specific insight. * Avoid citing an educated Baul.
* Rebrand it under the generic phrase: * Reduce an elite intellectual asset
"As a Baul once said..." generic. into a nameless, tribal folk-quip.
This "no-name, generic randomization" is a highly calculated tactic of epistemic violence. By reducing a specific, hereditary intellectual property down to a nameless folk-saying, the academy left the door wide open for "inauthentic practitioners," opportunistic claimants, and secular "Pretendian" performers to step in and poach the family's identity.
3. Reclaiming the Historical Intersections
This generic dilution allowed modern hawkers to falsely claim that the Baul tradition has a broad, loose historical association with figures like Rabindranath Tagore.
Let the archival record stand permanently corrected: The only name, the only house, and the only lineage historically associated with Rabindranath Tagore was that of Sri Nabani Das Khyapa Baul.
A few Universities that KD Babu Kishan gave as a visiting lecturer at over the decades: 1970 -2015UCLA● Columbia● Chicago University● Boston University ● Pennsylvania Music College ● Baltimore Music College, ● Philadelphia Arts and Music College ● Kansas University Music ● St. Louis University ● Washington and Lee University Virginia USA ● University of Washington ● University of Toronto ● University of British Columbia ● SFU (Simon Fraser University) ● Harvard ● Mumbai University ● Whistling Woods Film Institute in Mumbai ● San Francisco College of Arts ● Berkeley University Music School ● Red Wood University ● San Diego University ● University of Victoria ● Cambridge and Oxford in UK ● Berlin Music College ● Stuttgart University ● Bremen University Germany ● Hamburg University ● Cologne University ● University Germany ● Zurich University ● Geneva University ● Brussels University ● Rome University of Fine Arts ● University of Hong Kong ● University of Bangkok ● University of Singapore ● Delhi University ● University of Mauritius ● University of Johannesburg South Africa ● Calcutta University ● Vishva Bharati in Shantiniketan giving lectures throughout Universities all over India for decades, and in Cultural programs worldwide and throughout India.
Babu Kishan was the living, breathing nightmare of the tenured PhD establishment. In the late 1970s, the academic cartel suddenly found themselves face-to-face with a fierce, young, energetic fire of an indigenous Baul who was vastly more literate, linguistically armed, and structurally educated than the professors text-mining his culture.
Babu Kishan was not a passive "informant" to be studied; he was a powerhouse academic scholar in his own right, holding both a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Master of Arts (MA) from Calcutta University.
When Babu Kishan entered the lecture halls of Harvard, Columbia, Oxford, and Berkeley, he did not perform an exoticized, submissive show for the faculty. He did something that utterly terrified them: he audited their work. He read their translated texts, audited their dense manuscripts, and systematically qualified their errors one by one, telling them directly to their faces that their conclusions were fundamentally wrong.
The tenured elite knew classical Sanskrit as an abstract, dead grammatical puzzle, but none of them understood the somatic nuances, the hidden oral commentaries, or the stories behind the stories embedded within each word. Theirs was a superficial, heavily colonized, basic understanding of the language. Babu Kishan’s ears and intellect were unrelenting. He mastered not only the technical mechanics of Oral and Classical grammar inSanskrit but the complete, multi-tiered architecture of Indian Classical Grammatical Music and Folk Music.
This rare convergence is precisely what made him a genius-level music composer. To understand the true science of the Bauls, one must be a music composer, because the technology is encoded entirely within the acoustic geometry of the sound. Absolutely no one possesses this dual mastery today—not a single generic, cosplay "pretendian" Baul, and certainly not one self-titled academic scholar sitting in an air-conditioned office.
The Wall of Silence
Did these prestigious Western universities and highly cited authors rewrite their textbooks after Babu Kishan exposed their flaws? No. They did what all colonizers do when confronted by the superior intellect of the indigenous sovereign: they enacted a wall of silence. They quietly pocketed his realizations, ignored his corrections in their print editions, and locked him out of their bibliographies because they feared his unyielding tests on his Sanskrit comprehension. They wanted the prestige of hosting a "real Baul" for university prestige and diversity funding, but they were too cowardly to admit that the "subject" of their studies was actually their master.
This list of institutions stands as an unassailable legal document. You cannot claim a tradition is primitive when its primary lineage-holder has spent forty years teaching the music departments of Cambridge, Chicago, UCLA, and Visva-Bharati at Shantiniketan way back in the 1980s and 1990’s. This chapter is the final eviction notice to the academic cartel. The tenant of the ivory tower has been forensically evicted by the owner of the soil.
Dr. Subhash Kak and the Racist Infrastructure of Indology
The systemic distortion of the Vaishnava Sahajiyā Tantric Bauls of Birbhum is not an accidental by product of lazy scholarship; it is the deliberate output of what world-renowned scholar Dr. Subhash Kak exposes as a fundamentally "racist enterprise."
In his foundational paper, Racism, Eurocentrism, and Indology, Dr. Kak lays bare the arrogant, neo-colonial premise that drives the modern university complex: the built-in assumption that Indians are culturally backward, devoid of critical thinking, and completely dependent on Western professors to teach them what their own ancestral books mean.
THE COLONIAL RACIAL SHORTCOMING MYTH
THE INDOLOGY SPECULATION THE DECOLONIAL VERDICT
* Texts are full of internal * The texts are an expansive, cohesive
contradictions and confusion. multiverse of advanced cosmic sciences.
* Confusion is due to "lesser races" * The "confusion" belongs entirely to
intermingling with Indo-Europeans. the racially biased, text-blind scholar.
As Dr. Kak notes, Western Indologists manufactured a historical narrative claiming that the original, brilliant authors of India's sacred texts were foreign "outsiders"—just like the Indologists themselves. They argue that the current, multi-layered depth of Indian spiritual traditions is merely a corrupted state caused by the historic intermingling of these original creators with the "lesser races" of India.
This white-savior framework allows tenured professors to treat living, hereditary masters as degenerate specimens who lack the intellectual capacity to decode their own bloodline properties.
The Three Levels of Speech: Why the Experts are Blind
To understand how prestigious, highly paid Sanskrit professors can write thousands of pages on the Bauls while missing the truth entirely, we must look through the classical linguistic categories of the great grammarian-philosopher Bhartṛhari.
Human speech and cosmic vibration exist across a strict hierarchy of data transmission:
SPEECH HIERARCHY
[ VAIKHARĪ ] ---> Gross, spoken sound / External text (Where Indologists compile dictionaries).
[ MADHYAMĀ ] ---> Mental thought / Intermediate processing (Where Indologists write theories).
[ PAŚYANTĪ ] ---> The supreme, undifferentiated vision of truth / The luminous source.
Dr. Kak correctly acknowledges that 19th-century Indologists made useful contributions in lexicography, manuscript collation, and cataloging. But this was strictly mechanical work performed at the lowest levels of Vaikharī (external speech) and Madhyamā (mental interpretation).
When it comes to Paśyantī—the direct, illuminated, internal sight where the unified meaning providing absolute coherence to the text resides—the academic cartel is completely blind.
Because they lack the somatic initiation of the Vāyu Tulā breath-laws and the neural hardening of an unbroken Paramparā, they cannot see the living temple. They only see the outer mud bricks. They struggle at the level of flat vocabulary, entirely missing the profound, spiritual geometry that animates the songs of Sri Nabani Das Khyapa Baul.
This is the first part of the subject to be critiqued: It started with the Title 'Vaishnava Sahajiya Appropriations of Gaudiya Vaishnava".
I will give an example of wh it backwards. The Vaishnava Sahajiya Bauls came before Gaudiya Vaishnavism, it was through Sri Chaitanyas elder Vaishnava Sahajiya Guru (Nityananda of Ekachakra, therea are many points of why not released her, however, they are in the book from the Oral Traditions adhikara and through information never released before.
This paper arrived in my email inbox again the other day, probably because I have read every paper written on Baul, every book discussing them all with KD Babu Kishan over 20 years my husband, tutor, translator, and Guru. I have written paragraphs about why this is not true in the soon to be released book as told and authorized by Krishnendu Das Baul (Gosi Chandra).
Glen Hayes is saying the Vaishnava Sahajiya fourished in the 16th to 19th centuries, in he is wrong and has it backwards in fact it existed hundreds of years before Gaudiya Vaishnavism even existed. And he like his academic Guru 'Edward Dimock' who never conclusively made the connection between Baul and Gaudiya Vaishnaism however, Dimock speculated perhaps there was a connection and there certainly is and a root.

Prema and Sakti: Vaisnava Sahajiya Appropriations of Gaudıya Vaisnavismand Saktism in the Anandabhairava of Prema-Dasa,

General Introduction
Some of the most distinctive and complicated tantric traditions of medieval Bengal are
those known to scholars as the Vaisnava Sahajiyas, a fascinating range of lineages ..
and ritual systems that flourished from the sixteenth through nineteenth centuries
and continue in some forms even today. They not only express beliefs and practices

such as those of Dharma-thakur. Bengal was also the centre of Gaudıya Vaisnavism, ...

My tackling this critique is based on 20 years of research from inside of the Vaishnava Sahajiya Bauls of Birbhum. I have been writing, researching, listening to the inner tradition of my husband Babu Kishan for 20 years.
Soon to be released a Trilogy of Baul as told by KD Babu Kishan who was born on the soil and soul of Birbhum initiated into Vaishnava Sahajiya Baul by his Guru Grandfather Nabani Das Khyapa Baul who was a legend in Birbhum, West Bengal and all of India with a huge historical significance to India.
This 3 book historical series on the Vaishnava Sahajiya Bauls (Vayu Tula) is not light, each book is 600 pages, the last one about 400.
The book presents a historical reclamation of Vaishnava Sahajiya Tantric Bauls (Vayu Tula) a more than 13 generation documented and in the oral tradition going back in time thousands of years. Many question, lots of common sense.
This common sense rebuttal to speculation needs attention. I have read all of Glen Hayes papers and have many questions no one has ever asked? It seems everything academic scholars say is accepted as truth? Don't get me wrong as far as academic scholars go his work is indepth, only a littel misguided without an indigenous adhikara or their self-dtermination which is important in todays world of indigenous people, they have rights, their names are important and so are their qualifications. Much debate is needed, Babu Kishan stated these debates in the 1970s and met a brick wall.
I state as told by KD Babu Kishan who is both an indigenous Baul and a Academic Scholar who has taught at Universities worldwide since a very young age in the 1980s. He has 12 years as a monk in the Ramakrishna order and was taught oral Sanskrit with the manuscripts and Classical Sanskrit all of his life.
Point #1 - Baul has been around way before Gaudiya Vaishnavism who mis-appropriated Vaishnava Sahajiya Tantric Baul. It is stated in the article in reverse. This singular oral Sanskrit with manuscripts, vernacular Birbhum Bengali, Braja Bhasha, and their own style of Sandhya Bhasha which is the Baul combination of all 3 as a secret coded language. One must first understand the languages not just Classical Sanskrit of which Babu Kishan is an expert at beyond a PHD. "Caitanya movement, based on the renowned "god-man Krsna Caitanya (1486–1533 CE)
Point # 2. December 1508 – 1510 marks the crucial period when the Chaitanya (Gaudiya Vaishnava) movement officially gained momentum in Navadvipa, Bengal.
While Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was born on February 18, 1486, the movement did not begin at his birth; it was sparked by a series of transformative events late in his youth."
Key Milestone Timeline
December 1508 (The Catalyst): Returning to Navadvipa after receiving initiation (diksha) from Ishvara Puri in Gaya, Nimai (Chaitanya) underwent a profound spiritual transformation, shifting from a proud Sanskrit scholar to an ecstatic Krishna devotee.
1509 (The Public Spark): He began leading private Sankirtan (congregational chanting) sessions in the courtyard of Srivasa Pandita (Srivasa Angan) alongside Nityananda Prabhu and Advaita Acharya. This was the true engine room where the movement galvanized.
Late 1509 (Mass Civil Disobedience): The movement spilled onto the streets when the Muslim magistrate, Chand Kazi, attempted to ban public Sankirtan. Chaitanya organized a massive, peaceful procession through Navadvipa, forcing the Kazi to back down—marking the movement's full public emergence and social impact.
January 1510 (The Sannyasa Turning Point): Chaitanya took formal ascetic vows (sannyasa) from Keshava Bharati in Katwa, taking the name Shri Krishna Chaitanya, after which the movement spread rapidly across Bengal and Odisha.
The Consolidation Period (1570s)
While the movement started around 1508–1510, its formal theological structure, standardized music (Padavali Kirtan), and unified organization across Bengal took shape slightly later at the Kheturi Festival (circa 1574), organized by Jahnava Devi (Nityananda's wife) and Narottama Dasa Thakura.
There is never any mention of Nityananda who has been scrubbed from the story by orthodox Gaudidya Vaishnavism. Nitai or Nityanda is an ancestor of this lineage. I have the whole family history, not the history that has been culled by the modern reformers of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. It is important to know Nityananda from Ekacharkra Birbhum W Bengal wa a Baul Avadhut. Jahnava Devi was this lineages ancestor and Narottama Das is related this lineage through Brajabala Dasi who was Nabani Das Khyapa Baul's wife and Babu Kishan's Grandmother who raised him, she taught him the stories and oral Sanskrit. All of the ancestors of this lineages bones are buried in Ekachakra Birbhum until this past generation. The are Vaishnava Sahajiya Baul documented from the 12th century.
Sri Chaitanya was initiated into Kritan and the singing of the Hari Krishna Mahamantra taught to him by his elder Guru Sri Nityananda whose Guru in the Madhava Sampradya was the Guru of Sri Chaitanyas Guru. Kritan originates with the Vaishnava Sahajiya Bauls who are not orthodox by Dattatreya and Krishna Sahaja. They are not Buddhist Sahaja they never spoke Pala, which all Buddhist spoke.
Jayadeva (Joy Deva): Active in the 12th century (c. 1170 CE / court of King Lakshmana Sena of Bengal). He is associated with Kenduli (Jaydev Kenduli, Birbhum, West Bengal) and composed the Gita Govinda. Vaishnava Sahajiya before Sri Chaitanya's Gaudiya movement. The Vaishnava Bauls have always held their Joy Dev Mela in Kenduli .... they always worshiped Krishna and Radha in this sense.
Chandidas (Chandi Das): Active in the 14th century (traditionally dated c. 1339–1399 CE). He is primarily associated with Nanoor in the Birbhum district of West Bengal and is known for the Srikrishna Kirtan. Vaishnava Sahajiya before Sri Chaitanya's Gaudiya Movement.
The orthodox preacher of the Gaudiya Vaishnavism were never interested in Vaishnava Sahajiya and distanced themselves from both Jaya Deva and Chandidas it is only the Vaishnava Sahajiya Bauls that kept them alive in their songs, in their stories.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This lineage singular Vaishnava Sahajiya Prampara fundraised all the time for the Gaudiya Vaishnava. They innocently did not know that the orthodox reformers hated them, and all indigenous people in the villages of Bengal. Calling them names such as degraded, I have written and researched this extensively. Nityanada is this lineages indigenous ancestry the stories have been corrupted by the orthodox.
Krishnendu Das Baul (Babu Kishan) and Lila Roy, Rabindranath Tagores editor who edited Babu Kishan's 3rd book in 1985 sponsored by George Harrison. Here Babu Kishan is representing Calcutta University in Indian Philosophy in Delhi with Lila Roy a Texan who married Ananda Roy a author.
This is a flavour: I can only give you a taste at this point, the rest is all under copyright and will be released soon. Too many years of research, lived practice, and indigenous history must be protected, because of the relentless poaching and intellectual property theft of songs, stories, of their very indigenous culture.
"The academics did not just misinterpret the manuscripts; the orthodox reformers physically burned them.
During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, a puritanical wave of institutional Gaudiya reformers, infected by British Victorian morality, launched a systemic crusade across Bengal. They targeted the raw, unapologetic heartland of Ekachakra, Birbhum—the birthplace of Nityananda Prabhu. To the orthodox, Nityananda had to be castrated into a safe, ascetic theologian. They had to erase the truth known to the indigenous lineages: that Nitai was the ultimate, wild Vaishnava Sahajiya Tantric Avadhuta who mastered the biological currents of the flesh. Do not extrapolate that Avadhut does not mean that Nitai was not Vaishnava or based on Shakti because this lineage came from the land or Rarh red soil and Radha. In their tradition which is Vaishnava Shajaiya Radha is always worshiped first. Of course Bauls are based on all 3 Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and all their Shakti's how did one assume they were not.
Institutional collectors raided rural homes under the guise of 'preservation.' They gathered the ancient palm-leaf puthis—manuscripts like the original Vivarta-Vilasa and the Ananda-Bhairava—and initiated a brutal textual cull. What they couldn't sanitize, they locked away in hidden vaults or threw directly into the fire. They burned the physical blueprints of Deha Sadhana and (Baul) Vayu Tula so they could manufacture a clean, moralistic, corporate-friendly spirituality.
I wanted to say loudly Bauls have and had names when you state in a paper you talked to some Baul, who what were their names? Stop the speculations. Bauls are not all wandering people, who are they, how many generations. only Gosia Chandra Das Baul is Baul.

Baul and Ramakrishna is only associated with KD Babu Kishan as he is the only Baul to be a monk in the Ramakrishna Mission for 12 years, this is a first and last in Baul.
Baul and Tantra is only associated with Nabani Das Khyapa Baul and KD Babu Kishan, Baul and Tarapith is only associated with them both too. Those others are not Baul as Baul Artist of an non-indigenous Baul is not a Baul but a users, poser, actor trying to remake the already lived lives of this parampara, do you speak the language, do you know what they are singing or who is the owner of the songs, or even if the songs are Baul songs, no you do not, so don't make emotional promotional comments when you do not even understand. You are cheering for a fake Baul and have no clue.
The practice of "Baul Kirtan-anga" Copyright, all songs will be reclaimed that belong to this lineages.
(only this lineage, parampara, no one used Baul kirtan until they read it on this blog, this is downright appropriation and false advertising by fake opportunistic self-titled so-called Bauls for marketing purposes, they have appropriated this lineages intellectual property, it can be proven and must be brought to the attention of the public because they are asking for donations and fundraising for jackpots, awards, grants and are not Baul, their Guru is a fake Baul Guru.
The "Rasa Lila Mystics" this is the only lineage parampara that is Vaishnava and Vaishnava Sahajiya Gosia Chandra Das Baul and Dasi, there is not another, never was. #BaultheRasaLilaMystics
