The Vaishnava Sahajiya Bauls of Birbhum are the Roots of Baul, this is where Baul came from. Baul is not every wandering person and it certainly is not what you see today. Bauls have a long history and history of at the very least 13 generations. This lineage made Bauls famous that is why random generic people used Baul and they did and are still using Baul for donations, international travel, awards, now the Guru Ma and Guru Baba industry waiting for their finacial jackpots when they have no roots in Bengal. All will be exposed.

"The first Dotara used by Bauls was by Gopal Das Baul in the early 1940's he was the husband of Radharani Dasi Baul ( Babu's aunt who was the biggest most famous Baul women ever.)

Baul and Ramakrishna is only associated with KD Babu Kishan as he is the only Baul to be a monk in the Ramakrishna Mission for 12 years, this is a first and last in Baul.
Baul and Tantra is only associated with Nabani Das Khyapa Baul and KD Babu Kishan, Baul and Tarapith is only associated with them both too.
